Dikteon Andron or Dicteon cave (where Zeus was born according to legend) is one of the most important and famous caves of Greece. The route to the cave is magnificent as the view to the Lassithi Plateau is breathtaking. The cave itself hosts a marvellous pond as well as stalactites and stalagmites.
